Doris P. Goodnow, 96, of Pawtucket, passed away on May 3, 2023. She is survived by her daughters, Gail Cabana of Pawtucket, and Diane Dickinson of Lincoln, and her son Ethan Goodnow of Cumberland, as well as her sister Ruth Peckham of Fall River, Ma. She also had eleven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon in 1994, and her son Paul in 2012, and her sister Lois Brooks in 2015.
Doris was the daughter of Tom and Irene Phelps of Fall River. She worked as a commercial artist before going on to raise her family. She was associated with the Lincoln Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for more than fifty years. She loved the beach, gardening, puzzles, dancing, painting, and talking about the Bible.
A memorial talk for Doris will be given on Friday, May 19th at 7:00 p.m. at Keefe Funeral Home. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
